In this case, the mission is to collaborate with the client to design and develop artistic products intended for high-volume production.

An Example
Owens helped develop a family of figurines. Two of them are shown above. The client already had preliminary designs in the form of drawings, rough models and a bright, direct sense of what they wanted. Owens combined all of this and produced finished prototypes.
Where to Start?
You probably know what you want. You just need help completing full-scale prototypes suitable for presentations to stakeholders and begin a dialog with potential manufacturers. You need the prototypes to be accurate in order to support your marketing plan. Mass production, which is usually done offshore, is for you to arrange but its good to work with people who understand how 3-dimensional objects are manufactured and care about setting the stage for excellent results; people who begin with the end in mind.
Your idea probably exists in some form already: Quick drawings on loose paper, illustrations, a model of some kind - be it real or virtual. If additional work is needed to flesh-out your idea, Owens can help you develop a plan for that. At some point, you’ll have something to hold in your hands. Once you lay eyes on it and turn it in front of you, you’ll see it in a new way. Depending on what it is, it may go through another evolution as you refine the design in small but important ways. Owens is setup to help you through this process and most of it can be done remotely. Where are you now in this process? How do you envision us working together?
Let’s start the dialog. How can Owens help you move forward?
